Powers the live condition-based background photos on Saved Location cards. On hover, a contextual photo is fetched based on the location's real-time weather condition and local time of day — dawn, daytime, dusk, or night — with condition-specific queries for rain, storms, snow, and fog. Photos are sourced from the Unsplash community (UGC) under the Unsplash License, which permits free use with attribution. All photos are fetched server-side, cached for 30 minutes, and served with photographer credit displayed on the card.

App hosting and CDN delivery. Standard web request headers (IP, browser type, timestamp) may be logged by Vercel as part of normal CDN operations. Governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Serverless Redis used for API rate limiting to prevent abuse. Stores only anonymous request counters — no personal data, no IP addresses, no user identifiers.
