6.Data Storage
- •On your device (localStorage): Saved cities, unit preferences (°C/°F), theme preference (dark/light), and data refresh settings are stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless explicitly transmitted as part of a weather request.
- •On our servers: We do not maintain a database of user data. We do not log your location, queries, or usage activity.
- •Cached weather data: Weather API responses are cached on edge servers (Vercel / Upstash) for 5–60 minutes to reduce API calls. This cache contains weather data for coordinates — not personal user data.
7.Data Retention
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete or retain. All user preferences stored in your browser's localStorage can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser or app data.

9.Children's Privacy

By using the Service, your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our third-party providers operate. We rely on our providers' compliance with applicable data transfer frameworks (e.g., EU-US Data Privacy Framework) for lawful transfer.
